Pakistan · Normal tax year 2024
1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024. Single-source individual estimate. No filing or payment is made.
Confirm that the scenario matches your circumstances, then calculate.

What to enter

Enter taxable salary, including taxable allowances, rather than take-home pay. Monthly input assumes the same taxable amount for twelve months. The tool does not model joining mid-year, salary changes, arrears elections, tax credits, employer tax gross-up or special teacher/senior concessions. Salary-only scope avoids applying the salaried table incorrectly to mixed income.

Tax year 2024: applicable rules

Finance Act 2023 changed the higher salary bands and the normal non-salaried table. Select the year of the income, not the year you happen to use this page.

A worked example for TY2024

For an eligible individual with PKR 1,800,000 annual taxable salary, the estimated tax is PKR 90,000.

What the estimate excludes

No withholding adjustment, tax credits, minimum tax, final/separate tax regimes, special exemptions, losses or super tax is computed. The tool stops above PKR 150 million. A monthly equivalent is annual estimated tax divided by 12, not a payroll withholding schedule. Results display two decimal places; filing-rounding rules are not applied automatically.
